Beyond Motherhood
You are not alone in this.
Our Story
Beyond Motherhood was founded from a deeply personal journey through postpartum depression - a time marked by isolation, overwhelm, and the quiet struggle so many women face but rarely speak about.
What was also needed during that time wasn’t just clinical care - it was connection. A space filled with women who understood, listened without judgment, and simply got it.
From that experience, Beyond Motherhood was created - a safe, supportive community where women can come together, share openly, and begin to heal.
Our Founder
Meet Lisa
After the birth of her daughter in 2024, Lisa experienced postpartum preeclampsia followed by severe postpartum depression. As a physician assistant, she understood what was happening — but that didn’t make the experience any less overwhelming.
She sought help, did the work, and came through the other side with a renewed purpose.
Postpartum depression does not discriminate. It can affect anyone — regardless of background, knowledge, or how deeply they love their child.
Too many women carry this silently. Beyond Motherhood exists to change that.
I needed this space too.
You deserve more than just surviving this season. You deserve support, connection, and a space to be held.
What we believe
Healing happens through connection
No mother should feel alone in her experience
Support should feel safe, human, and judgment-free
Every woman deserves a space to be heard and understood
